National Infertility Awareness Week is April 19th–25th & Introducing Mel Wolf L. Ac, D. Ac at Rittenhouse

At Healing Arts, the stories of infertility are not abstract —They’re deeply personal, shared with us all year-round by individuals and couples navigating one of life’s most emotional journeys. Each experience is unique and nuanced, yet so many are connected by a common thread: the desire for understanding, support, and hope.

Every April, National Infertility Awareness Week shines a national spotlight on these experiences. Led by RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association, this important initiative works to educate the public, break down persistent myths, and advocate for meaningful progress. Through awareness and action, they help pave the way for greater access to care and real legislative change that supports those facing infertility.

At Healing Arts, we are proud to stand alongside this movement—not just during this week, but throughout the entire year—by offering compassionate, holistic care that supports the body and mind on the path to fertility.

Meet Acupuncturist Mel Wolf L.Ac, D.Ac at HACA!

With the departure of Dawn after 5 wonderful years we’re excited to welcome our newest member to the HACA team, Mel Wolf, L. Ac, D. Ac.

Mel is a board-certified, licensed acupuncturist with doctoral-level training in acupuncture and East Asian Medicine, dedicated to helping people find real relief from pain, stress-related symptoms, and complex or ongoing health concerns. Before entering this field, she spent 16 years working as a dental hygienist, where she developed a strong foundation in anatomy, clinical care, and a keen ability to recognize the subtle patterns in the body that often contribute to larger, chronic issues.

Her approach is grounded, intuitive, and results-oriented, blending modern clinical understanding with the principles of East Asian Medicine to support both physical and nervous system balance. She works with patients to reduce symptoms at the source while helping them feel more comfortable, more regulated, and more at ease in their bodies.

To start, Mel Wolf will join on Fridays and Saturdays but eventually her hours will span from Wednesdays to Saturdays. Dejota Apostoli will also have more hours adding Friday mornings!
